Who are we looking for?
We are conducting a talent search in multiple genres . We are NOT doing a battle of the bands or groups at this time. IF you are registering as a duet or a trio, then you MUST have individual applications filled out as this is primarily for single / solo artists. We will allow an acoustic guitar or instrument that does not require power but it must be played by the registered artist. NO BANDS ALLOWED.
We are accepting SOLO Artists in the genres of :
- Hip Hop / Rap
- Gospel / Christian
How does it work?
We will be holding 3 days of auditions.
- Day 1 is the first round
- Day 2 will be the auditions with the highest scores from round 1 .
- Day 3 will be our grand finale and will feature the top artists from Round 2 for the final battle.
Winners will be chosen at the Genre / Category level for prizes, giving more chances to walk away with something awesome.
$1,500 , $1,000 , $500 – Will go to the top 3 in each Genre.
The top 3 in the whole competition will win the grand prize!

How are we picking our winners?
Judges will be scoring based on many different metrics and dynamics:
- Stage Presence
- Dynamic range
- Breathing Control
- & more
Each competitor will receive their score cards at the end of the event to show how they scored . The score cards will be tallied up and those with the highest averaging scores will move onto the next round. Our scorecard metrics and guide will be released to registrants prior to the event so they know what to focus on.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Each competitor should have 3 songs rehearsed. Please do not pick a piece that goes over 3 minutes.
The clock will end at 3 minutes and your audition will end at that point.
We are asking that you prepare for at least 3 songs. You pick the songs. Original songs are OK to perform but not necessary.

Jason “Jase” Oliver – Jason is the lead singer of R&B group Soul For Real. The group was best known in the mid-nineties for their gold-certified singles Candy Rain and “Every Little Thing I Do” off their platinum selling debut album Candy Rain. In 2007, Jase opened up his very own independent entertainment & production company: JASEMAKERMUSIC LLC.
Prior to launching CSP Music Group, Starr was instrumental in producing, writing and or engineering songs for upcoming and award-winning artists like R&B singer Mary J.
